Government

Governance of the greater Katy area is determined by the area in which you live.

The City of Katy has a Mayor, City Administrator and a City Council. Five City Council members are elected from two wards.

The neighborhoods and planned communities in the unincorporated parts of the Katy area are governed by the respective County and management companies or home owner associations.
